Description
Polypropylene is expanded with CO2, CFC- and HCFC-free, and contains no residual blowing agents.
It has a closed-cell structure that gives it excellent shock energy dissipation and specific thermal resistance.
Expanded polypropylene has an excellent ecological balance and does not cause environmental damage either through production or as a raw material, because: - it is composed primarily of air (depending on its density, it can reach 98% air) and only 2% of pure hydrocarbon structural material; - it is 100% recyclable and can be recycled in infinite cycles without releasing residues into the environment or losing its chemical-physical characteristics; - it is a stable plastic polymer of hydrogen and carbon.
These products have the following certifications obtained from the Experimental Station of the Food Preservation Industry in Parma (SSICA): o Cold-hot decay o Freezing decay At Pack Co Srl: o OM6 global migration test.
